No software is perfect, so the PicLan-IP Web Server is designed to recover from most web server and application errors automatically:

• A watchdog phantom process does nothing but watch for application errors:
• Application processes are automatically restarted if they fail
• Error messages are generated to the user
• The system will recover from most error types:
• Web Server Pick/BASIC debugger entry
• Application code Pick/BASIC debugger entry
• Most system aborts
• Errors are logged
